This property was recently asked about in this Hotwire London thread but unfortunately has not yet been reported to the board.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Thanks for the suggestion to book one night to "look under the hood". Right my wife is not willing to move around. Plus I have 2+ months before I travel. So I will make a backup (cancellable), and will wait a little and see what comes up.

I decided to book direct - I found a good rate ($150) for the Crowne Plaza Kensington for my dates (4****, and gets good reviews on TA). Thanks anyway for your suggestions - maybe next time...
