Hotwire Hotel: Identify Hotwire Hotel Suggestion

Hi I was looking for a hotel in the Isla Verde section of Puerto Rico for my trip with my Father, scheduled for 4/16-4/21 (5 nights).

I heard the beaches are the best there.

I put my requests into HW and the result indicated a 4* property with the following amenities:

This amenity combination has previously been seen to be associated with the Inter-Continental, but I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

This is my first time using this service and I had a great rate, but now it's gone.

Do I keep checking? Are new room rates added daily?

HOTWIRE inventory changes all the time, especially in larger areas.

There is, unfortunately, no way of knowing when the inventory will change or which hotel may appear at what price.

My guess is that this is the Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde upgraded to the 4* level since the last time it was reported to the board.

However, i'll point out the inconsistency that HOTWIRE indicates this offer is 3.5/5.0 rated by Tripadvisor whereas the current rating of the Courtyard is 4.0/5.0. This does cast a shadow of doubt over this ID but doesn't exclude the Courtyard since HOTWIRE's info isn't updated in real time (only updated about once per month) and may have changed since the last update.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.
