3* Bellingham Best Western Lakeway Inn

I started my bid at $50 for a 3* hotel in Bellingham. Was rejected but said I could rebid right away for $15 more. I saw on another post where someone said Priceline will almost always accept 1/2 way between what you offer and the $15 more rebid... so I decided to wait until the next day to bid again. The second day I bid $58 and was rejected again but was offered the instant rebid of $15 more. Since I needed the room the next day and wouldn't have time to bid again, I rebid for $15 more ($73) and it was accepted. I probably should have originally started at $60 which is what most people were getting (or started bidding days earlier) but oh well, live and learn.

By the way, I was really wanting a room with 2 beds. I saw a couple of posts that people were able to get a room with 2 beds at this hotel and they had bid through Priceline. I figured if we got a single maybe they would let us pay the difference for a double. No problem though, the room they game us had 2 double beds. Thanks Priceline!
