Priceline Hotel: 3* Little Rock (West) Crowne Plaza

I made a mistake with my bid. I tried the airport and Little Rock west for $50 and lost. Then I tried North and Airport for $60 and lost. I then changed it to north, airport, and west and upped my price to $65 and won West. I could have probably gotten this for $55 or $60 instead but forgot to adjust my bid price back down after trying for the airport. I guess I only lost about $5 or $10 a night by my mistake. This same hotel on Hotwire is a little less so if I got it through Hotwire I would have paid $4 less total after taxes.

I consider myself pretty good at this, but still make mistakes sometimes. I've been trying bids over several days and just got confused.

BTW, the hotel told me that if you have already stayed there before under either Hotwire or Priceline, they'll give you a $70 a night rate without even having to go through those services. Just call the hotel directly. You must have stayed there at least once before under a Priceline or Hotwire bid however to get the rate. The advantage of going through the hotel is that you can upgrade to the club floor for $20 more a night.

$65 a night for two nights plus $24.56 taxes = $154.56 for the stay.

This is for the Edgefest concert. I hope it's worth the five hour drive from Texas!

Not a bad deal for this property and have fun at the concert - hopefully the hotel will be convenient to the concert.
