atomicskiracer Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Hey guys...Looking to head to NYC for a quick trip, and wanted to get some pricing advice here first. What do you think would win for the folling areas: TS/CPS/MTW for 3.5 and 4 stars? I checked out the calendar and 160ish seems to take it for a 4 start in MTW, do you think that would be accepted in TS as well? Where should I start my bidding? I would like to spend no more than $170, but obviously would prefer to spend a bit less. Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay? At the 4* level is there a reason you're not including MTE and/or ESB in your bidding? At the 3.5* level are you comfortable with the Hudson Hotel which has notoriously small rooms? Any reason to avoid the MSG zone at the 3.5* level? Are you willing to pay more for a specific zone OR is your goal the least expensive of any of the zones you're willing to stay in?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. atomicskiracer Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Ok...I am deciding between 3.5* for TS/MTW or 4* for TS/MTW/CPS....WHat would be my stategies, and what do you think would win in the 3.5 or 4* range? Would 200 take it?

atomicskiracer Posted April 5, 2011 Author Report Posted April 5, 2011 3.5 ts/mtw, and I would like to start the bidding with $180 (i have previously tried up to this amount)
atomicskiracer Posted April 5, 2011 Author Report Posted April 5, 2011 Im really sorry to change yet again :)....But after bidding up to $215 for 3.5* in CPS/ts/mtw, i need to go a different route. What would my bidding strategy be for MTE for a 4* starting at $175 (i already bid this for mte)? Would you think that $200 would take it? Thanks!
