vandan Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 This looks like the Peabody @ Hotwire, but would like to be sure (or 99.9%). Have not tried Priceline, as the chance to get another hotel is significant - Peabody is one of the 4-star hotels in the area @ Priceline.Looking to book 5/19/11-5/23/11 - room with two beds. Currently listed for $132 per night. The Hotwire listing: 4.5* Hotel in Sea World Orlando I-Drive South. Ammenities includeSmoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Questions:* how certain can I be about this being the Peabody* Does anyone know how is the "trip total" as shown on Hotwire ($613.09 in my case) includes all possible extra fees, i.e. nothing will be added to the bill later?* Want to make sure I get a room for 2 with separate beds - is there a way to make sure that happensThank you!
thereuare Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Unless the "Bed Choice" option is show, the only way to ensure separate sleeping accommodations is to search for quad occupancy. However, even then note that the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofa bed, rollaway brought into the room, etc.How many adults/children are you searching for above? If less than quad occupancy, if you change the search to 2adults/2children is the same hotel offered and the price still the same (or at least still within your budget)? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! vandan Posted March 10, 2011 Author Report Posted March 10, 2011 As soon as I add 1-2 additional people (whether children or adults), the price goes to $240. I may just call the hotel and ask, I guess ...With question 3 out of the way, please help with #1 (most important) and #2.Thank you,Dan

thereuare Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 The star rating and amenities above (as does the TA rating) do match the Peabody so that would be my best guess for this one. This HOTWIRE property does charge a resort fee which would be paid directly to the hotel:Resort Fee:This hotel typically charges all guests a resort fee regardless of how the room is booked. The hotel collects this fee of about US$ 20 per room per night directly from you, so it won't show in your Hotwire Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
