jeepman777 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 trying to book Seattle Downtown Pike Place, 4 star, for 4/8-4/12. started probably a little low at $65. But tried both $70 and $76 and still nothing. Suggestions? Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! While we have seen some wins at the levels you've been bidding, it often takes more than this, especially as we leave the winter months and start heading closer to the spring/summer months. With this noted, i don't think you're too far away, perhaps another $10-$15/nite more... what is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.PS- please read your messages Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

All it really means is there is really a hotel out there somewhere between your $86 and the $111. While it tends to take about 1/2 way up to work (+$12 or $13), there are bidders who report success with only an additional dollar. You've got time to work up gradually.Romelle

AaronJB Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 HOTWIRE has a 4* in this zone for $96 and you've bid to $86; I'd really take it slow and go up by $2's, using re-bidding.Please using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
jeepman777 Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 what is the re-bidding? sorry i'm new :) i have to wait 24 hours right? we definitely want to be in that zone and star rating so we're walking distance to the market. and i definitely use the PRICELINE link you have!
jeepman777 Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 nevermind! read up on rebidding and got 4* Sheraton for $90. thanks guys for the help!
