Buzliteyear
Atlantic City is such a crazy place for hotels. We've actually stayed in 4 star hotels during the week for $35. a night including taxes and fees. Anyway, I bid for one night in a 4 star for Saturday, March 26 and had no hits.1st Bid $150.2nd $160.3rd $170.4th $180.5th $190.6th $200.And, of course, I used the Betterbidding link for PRICELINE to place my bids!As always, thanks BB.com The Conga Line Never Stops! thereuare
There is a Featherweight Title boxing match on this nite which is probably what is driving up hotel rates... what is your maximum bid for a 4* before lowering your star rating? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Buzliteyear
This is just an insanely priced weekend for AC. I have been bidding on and off for the last two weeks with no luck. Here are my recent bids...4 Star targeting the AC zone$220$230$240$250All failed. I stayed in AC last year at a 3.5 star for $22 during a special. I will now start searching in nearby areas, because I'm not paying $300 for a hotel room in AC.Closing out the thread. Good luck to everyone else. The Conga Line Never Stops! Link to comment
thereuare
I don't blame you for looking elsewhere, but boxing is still a big draw in Atlantic City and it's not uncommon to see rates as high as they are for big fights (other other large events)If you need help with looking outside the city please continue this thread. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck.
