spinmaster71 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 I have some time to play with the bids. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get one of the two resorts in the Naples area. There is one in Marco Island and the other is in Bonita Springs. I started the bidding at $115 and went all the way up to $176 per night. How are the 4 Star hotels in Bonita Springs, central Naples or Marco island? What bid can win for those? Thanks to the board for any help.Larry
AaronJB Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 The list of hotels that have been reported to the board in FL (new ones are being reported all the time, so there is likely others) can be found at this link. This is unfortunately a busy time of year in the area. What would be your desired max bid per night?Thank you for using the site's Hotwire or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
yellowdog Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 Inventory is low and rates are very high for your dates in Marco island Bonita Springs.I don't think $175 will cut it for above zones. It's difficult to guess an estimate but i think you're looking at $225-250/night if you get a hotel. What would your max budget be/night before tax/fee?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
spinmaster71 Posted March 8, 2011 Author Report Posted March 8, 2011 Thanks for the replies. I secured a great rate for the Holiday Inn express in Bonita Springs near 41. Good reviews, but pretty basic. I was keeping my budget to under $200 with priceline for the resort. I did get a rate of $109 for the Holiday Inn. I figured to get some brownie points with the MRS's for getting the resort for the weekend. Thanks again,Larry
