Wow! Very surprised to see this downgraded to 2.5*; this is not a property with a lot of amenities, but it's a nice, historic property in the upscale Gold Coast area. This property was recently bought by famed hotel operator Ian Schrager, who is turning it into a boutique later in 2011. The hotel's legendary restaurant is being closed and renovated, and the lack of restaurant amenity may be the reason for the hotel going to 2.5* from 3*.
