Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip South) Vdara

New to price line and this form... Wish I saw this form before I bid.

I was very happy with my bid of $150 but after reading a few post it going me asking myself if I got the best deal possible. I saw that some people were able to get the same hotel for $80, (week day). Is it possible that the price could drop that much for the weekdays? Originally I tried for a 5* at $120 but priceline said there were no room available for that price, so It asked if I wanted to bid for $150, It wouldn't let me go any lower, so I said yes.

Is there a strategy to get the lowest prices possible? Any way to cancel and try again? :)
