Chrispythegull Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Hi there! I have been agonizing over which hotel to book in Las Vegas over the days of Thu 03/31-04/03. My friend is flying in from Switzerland and its his first time in Vegas. A group of four of us are going and we would like to book two rooms in a five star hotel. (Go big or go home, am I right? =D) I attempted to use Priceline's name your own price feature at 75 and then again at 85 and was rejected. I am not partial to priceline over hotwire but would really like to score something nice. I seek this forum's guidance in scoring the big deal we crave! Thanks!Chris

We are willing to spend probably 60 a night apiece before resort fees. So 120 a night for a hotel. I understand this might be a bit of a wild goose chase, but with a Thursday and Sunday night stay in there, I figured the chances would be a little bit better. Thanks for your assistance.Edit: Oh no, it looks like I entered the dates wrong. It's a four night stay, so checking out on the morning of Monday, the 4th.
yellowdog Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 $60+tax/fee a night isn't realistic for a 5*. This goes for both Nort and South zone. I doubt you'll hit a 4* for this kind of money. But we need to know your preferred zone to look deeper into this.but with a Thursday and Sunday night stay in there, I figured the chances would be a little bit better. But you're also staying there Friday and Saturday :) Let us know how you want to proceed. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.

I prefer the North strip, I guess. But I really don't have a preference. North, South, just as long as it's a reputable resort/casino. We want the whole shebang! Thanks again.
