Hotwire Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Wynn

Hi,

I'm looking to book a hotel from 23/3-30/3 and wud like to stay at the Wynn. Searching on Hotwire for these exact dates gives me the following:

5 STAR, north area hotel

$210/night

Amenities: Casino, Fitness,Pool, Restaurant, Business center, Hi-Speed Internet, Golf, Tennis, Spa (the full list after clicking on continue)

95% hotwire recommended

4.5/5 tripadvisor

Judging from previous post comments this has to be the Wynn (I know the Venetian is the same except for the tripadvisor rating). Correct?

My second q is, if I book this trip in two separate bits, it's a bit cheaper for the back end, and am having trouble finding anything for the fron end:

23/3-27/3 = ?? ($272 is offered but not same hotel, think it's the trump)

27/3-30/3 = $105 (for same hotel description)

I haven't seen such rates for the Wynn in any of the recent posts, any idea if this will improve as we get closer to the date?

This is a match for both Wynn and Venetian. So you need to have an open mind for both hotels. Currently have Wynn and Venetian the same TA rating so this makes it hard to separate them.

thx for the feedback. However if I look at TA then I still see 4.5 circles/5 for the Wynn and 4/5 for the Venetian. It does say 80% for both though, so the circles are incorrect?

Looking at recent bookings, can you conclude that it's more likely to be the Wynn than Venetian?

Personally I think that since Hotwire still shows 4.5/5 that it's the Wynn (and hasn't been updated yet).. Venetian didn't recently have a 4.5/5 as far as I recall.

The TA ratings on HOTWIRE are not updated in real time. The Wynn currently has 4.5/5 and I would think would be the more likely of the two - although there is the slight possibility that this may be the Venetian.
