hitch29135 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Can purchase a 4* on Hotwire for 160 a night. 3/30-4/03. Pretty much got it narrowed down to the Cassa by amenities...Smoke Free, Fitness & internet. My question is on Hotwire after I enter my CC info does it automatically book the room without giving bed choice options?Don't want to get stuck in a room with 2 beds. Thanks
yellowdog Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! My question is on Hotwire after I enter my CC info does it automatically book the room without giving bed choice options?Yes, if you're not given the bed choice option in the listing will it not appear later. You can always call the hotel after the booking and talk with them about your bed request. But it's no guarante. Usally is the problem that guests want 2 beds in NYC. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog.PS. Please follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancell your trip, etc.

They could guarantee a King Superior Room on a higher floor for that price. You can also cancel up to 24 Hrs before arrival without charge. This seemed better than the Hotwire offer which was a 4* for $160 a night but there was no room preference guarantee.

AaronJB Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 I would be very, very surprised if one were to use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE and get a room w/2 beds in NYC. Rooms in NYC are generally small across the board and there are not as many rooms with 2 beds - the majority of rooms are 1 (although there's no guarantee of what size bed that may be) and rooms with two almost always go for a premium.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
