Priceline Hotel: 3* St Petersburg-Clearwater (St Pete Beach-Treasure Island) HELP!

I'm trying to do a one night stay in St. Pete Beach/Treasure Island Area at a 3* hotel for March 5- March 6 (FOR MY BIRTHDAY :)). I just did all the tricks and went from $75 to $105 in 10$ increments and I was rejected each time.

I have a coupon for the Sirata for a room for $160 (total), but I thought I could do better on priceline, but I'm not sure I can.

Do they come down in price as you get closer to the date? I live about 35 min from St. Pete Beach, so I don't mind waiting it out til next week.

Please help :)

Thanks,

Shannon

Welcome to Betterbidding and Happy Early B-Day. :)

With the weather in the North, Spring Break and general higher travel, Florida has some busy/very busy periods during the Feb/Mar time frame.

I'd continue trying (and look to see if HOTWIRE is offering anything of interest) rather than waiting until the last minute.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

rates are high for your dates. I don't think $105 will cut it. You might looking at $120+

And have in mind that you don't bid specific for Sirata. You have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select.

Please read this link: Should i Bid Early or Close to Arrival Date

Keep us updated and let us know if we can be of further help along the way.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
