Way more than I wanted to spend, but this can be a difficult market for rentals. Started bidding on Sat 2/19 anywhere from $12 - $20 on a variety of cars. Retail rates jumped up to over $40, even for the smallest models.

At one point on Sat, PL told me a good bid would be $18, a great bid $19. I went lower and didn't score. Then on Sunday, had to go to $28 for an economy car because I ran out of time.

Sometimes, he who hesitates loses $$$.

Unfortunately, car wasn't for something fun like a trip. My car was in the shop. And they couldn't get a part until Thursday, so they told me to take my rental back. Hard to do when you've Pricelined.....
