dirty
I would like to get a room at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, but if I got a room at either The Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront or Avia Savannah, that would be OK. I DO NOT want a room at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort or the Mansion On Forsyth Park. Any price under list would be nice, so at what price should I start my bidding? Link to comment

yellowdog
dirtyYou can't bid or avoid a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select. If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive.Let us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Gallus50
Looked around and that is an expensive weekend. Is there some special event going on? HW rooms are over $200 for 4*; LMT has one over $200 also. Travelocity Secret Hotels has a 3* for $82. If you can get anything 4* for under $200, you'll probably be lucky. It's not impossible, but I don't think you will have the luxury of being picky, IMHO. Link to comment

Is there some special event going on?I seem to recall it being discussed in another thread that St Patrick's Day is HUGE in this area and likely the cause for high rates the days leading up to and immediately after the holiday. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
