Priceline Hotel: 4* Fort Lauderdale hotels

Hi, I am looking for a 3.5 or 4* hotel on the beach in Fort Lauderdale frpm 3/2-3/5. I have looked at the Priceline hotel list on this site & I am fine with all the hotels except for the Hyatt Pier 66. This does not seem to be on the beach so I am not sure why it is even on the list. Has anyone got that hotel recently? Just trying to determine the odds of ending up with that one.

I had been bidding on a four star hotel in the same area and had the same worries. I had reached my limit and had still not won anything so I ended up taking a Hotwire deal of 120 a night for a four star. Ended up with the W hotel which I'm excited with. After looking on this board it seems like a lot of people have been getting the W lately with priceline as well so that might be what you get but you never know. The reason the hyatt pier 66 is on the list is because when you look at the (beach ) zone on the map it cuts back towards the intercostal area and that just happens to be where that hotel is located. Thanks, the W is great for $120, you lucked out! There is a 4* listed on Hotwire which is probably the W but it is for $187 which is more than I wan to spend. It may also be the B.

Bid $100 on Priceline today, will try up to $120 tomorrow but I am still nervous about getting the Hyatt.

Hi, need help identifying these two 4* hotels in the Fort Lauderdale Beach area for 3/2 - 3/5.

Oceanfront

Smoke free

Fitness center

Pool

Restaurant

Business center

High Speed Internet

Spa

Avail for $187/night for all 3 nights, $150 per night for the first 2 but not showing up for Saturday if I try separately. Could be the W or the B?

2nd option for Sat only - but does not say anything about proximity to the beach. Not sure which one this is at all.

Resort

Fitness centre

Pool

Restaurant

Business center

High Speed Internet

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

3rd option 3.5* $ 174 per night avail for all 3 nights

Near Beach, Smoke Free, Fitness, Restaurant, Pool,Hi-Speed Internet, Business - seems like the Sheraton?

Which would be the better choice? Just wanted to get some input from anyone who has stayed/been there.

This is my first post in the forum, and hopefully it will help you out. I just discovered this Forum few days ago, and I'll be more than happy to exchange the knowledge.

I will post all my previous wins under the correct categories, but to answer your question.

I am 99% that the first hotel you got is (B Ocean Fort Lauderdale) cause I got it last week, and the amenities and the price are a perfect match.

The amenities appeared for the B when I booked were

Oceanfront

Smoke free

Fitness center

Pool

Restaurant

Business center

High Speed Internet

Spa

and the price I paid was $187... However I don't think it was a fantastic deal, because the B charges $194 a night when I called them (Their online rates are higher than when you call them)

Are you still seeing a smoke-free icon with the first listing? I'm not seeing it when searching for 2 people for these dates.

The second listing has not been ID'd/reported to the board. My guess for the 3.5* would be the Sheraton.
