jsmithsiu94 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Got the Rio Premium suites for 3/23-3/26 for a trip to Vegas with total rewards player card for cheap (380 for the entire 3 night stay), but decided needed one more day so had to go priceline for this...This week is spring break and is an extremely busy week in Vegas. Good rates at hotels are very hard to come by. Started my bid at 143 thinking I had no shot. But they came back with counteroffer of increasing by 35 bucks. I always say no to this, because in my past experiences, if you just increase your bid by $5-10 you will get it. So do NOT get suckered into this...keep trying instead.Upped the bid 5* North and South Strip locations, accepted at VDARA for 152 that night. Beats any price you will find for that night on any other site. If a 5* will accept $152 for this busy week, I do not understand paying anymore than this for any night of the year there.
