These amenities are common for a 4* hotel in NYC and multiple properties have been seen with this amenity combination, including the Flatotel, Helmsley Park Lane, Royalton, Sheraton, Sofitel, and Warwick... any of these would be likely possibilities for this one.

These are our considerations:

- Bed Choice: Since we have 2 kids (9 and 6), we'd like to be able to choose beds and prefer 2 double beds. This hotel in Hotwire seems the only hotel so far that allows to choose beds.

- Close to Time Square/Broadway area (will watch a Broadway show and easily get back to hotel)

- Hope to get a newer hotel, 3 or 4 may not matter much. (A little afraid that this 4* hotel is even cheaper than some 3*, could be really antique?)

Note that even if you select a 'bed choice' option and pre-select a room with 2 beds, if you book for double occupancy and show up with four, the hotel could have an issue with this and impose an additional fee. I'm not saying it isn't done, and the risks are probably lower when the 3rd and 4th guests are small children vs. teenagers/adults, but it's still a risk you'll need to be willing to accept.

If you search for 2adults/2children the price will go up a little, but your options will expand as well. The Bed Choice option is not used by that many hotels so you're greatly restricting the possible choices by booking for double occupancy and relying on an offer with the bed choice option shown.
