I was hoping for Hilton but the Bloomington Sheraton accepted my offer.

This hotel is listed in the Minneapolis-St Paul (Southwest) area on your hotel list - it is located in Bloomington, but now they promote it as follows:

Airport - Mall Of America Vicinity

and I got it in the MSP - Mall of America zone. Based on the Priceline map, I think it correctly falls in the MSP - MoA zone (Hwy 100 and 78th), not Minneapolis-St Paul (Southwest), so you may want to update your hotel list.

There must have been a minor change to this zone's boundaries as this property has been reported a few times in the Southwest zone, but it is clearly now in the Airport-Mall of America zone.

Yes, my first bid was at $44. I was expecting the Hilton at $45 so I just started at $44.

I guess we could have started at $40 or something and maybe saved a couple of bucks, but we're happy.

Yes, it does look like the Southwest zone has shifted to the west some, now the MSP-MOA zone has 4-star selection shown (most likely Hotel Sofitel)
