Hotwire Hotel: 4* Ft Lauderdale (Hollywood Beach) Westin Diplomat

Just confirmed 3/21 x 3 nights at the Westin Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach (not the Golf Resort) for $116 per night. The Westin website was $378 a night prepaid.

I searched on Hollywood Beach for 4 nights which is what we wanted and a different hotel came up with different specs for $169 a night which I believe is the Crowne Plaza across the road.

I searched on (using the forum HOTWIRE links of course), a 4 star in Hollywood Beach only.

amenities listed were:

Resort

Near Beach

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Spa Services (Spa was not visible on the first 8 but only after clicking on see all)

the approval rating was 95%

when i searched on including the 4th day i only got the other hotel that had 85% approval rating which from other posts seems to be the Crowne Plaza.

I was willing to take the risk that we would get the Golf resort which from other posts appears as a 4.5* and Boutique. I didn't get Golf - confirmed as Beach location.

I did not get the bed option like other posts, but i searched on 2 adults/2children so perhaps it is defaulting us to the 2 doubles.
