Very nice deal for this Marriott property. Sorry to hear about parking charges, but unfortunately high parking rates are becoming more common in recent years.

Hi There,

I just stayed at the Marriot last weekend, (won through Priceline using the PRICELINE link here of course!). It's a nice place, well located, and if you have kids (teens or younger) they have a great play area for them......but I did not post here for a review! Concerning the parking, there is free street parking in downtown Ottawa on the weekends. I believe it starts after 7pm on Friday, and goes to 6am Monday Morning, I parked literally right beside the hotel for 2 days totally free!. As for the internet charges....it is $14.95 a day, but they couple it with free nationwide long distance, and free local calls. It may save you some roaming charges on your cel phone, so that coupled with free parking didn't make it seem so bad. Just one other thing...they were very helpful with requests such as bed types and room floors, despite being a Priceline customer, which I thought was really nice, as some hotels do treat us like 2nd class citizens!
