thereuare Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 A property with this amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board. A new amenity combination for the Crowne Plaza, or an upgraded star rating and new amenity combination for the Holiday Inn, would both be giess, but really not confident/sure in this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. bookhound Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Have been bidding for quite a while.First bid: 4* SFO-Burlingame, $65.00 --- rejectedCounteroffer by Priceline: $85.00Added: SFO-North zone: $75.00 accepted.I used the BB PRICELINE link.
yellowdog Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 bookhoundThank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) We hope you're satisfied with the outcome and will like the Hyatt.Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.
bookhound Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Why is this under a previous hotwire thread now?
yellowdog Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 So we don't have posts hanging without any conclusions. And there could be members that have followed your previous thread. So we merge your threads so everybody can see what happend in the end.Yellowdog.
bookhound Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Sorry for using the thread to discuss this, but I don't get it. The previous post was in HOTWIRE to ask to help ID a hotel. This is for a successful PRICELINE bid. There's no indication that the Hyatt is the one that I asked about in the original HOTWIRE thread with the listed amenities. Or is this just to give other users a happy conclusion, that I found a hotel? :)
thereuare Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Users reading this thread will understand that you ultimately used PRICELINE based upon the content of the posts. As well, this thread is now in the PRICELINE section of the board, another indication that PRICELINE was ultimately used.As explained above, if we left your previous posts as an entirely separate thread, there would be no conclusion to the thread (most people, including yourself, probably wouldn't go back to say they ultimately use PRICELINE) thereby leaving future readers of that thread wondering if you ultimately purchase the hotel and didn't report the win, canceled the trip, made other plans, booked direct, etc, etc. Having one thread for all discussion about this particular stay allows others to see the complete 'journey' of you booking your hotel room, keeps fewer unresolved threads on the board which helps keep the board neat, organized, and more useful for everyone.Hope that clarifies things a bit. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
