victoorious Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Hey BB,So I am about to put in a bid in the SOUTH area, but I noticed that the main three hotels have been getting are ARIA, VDARA, and COSMOPOLITAN. Now is there anyway to bid without having VDARA in the list? The reason is because I'd really prefer to stay in a hotel that has a Casino.
yellowdog Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Hello victoorious!Sorry to say that the short answer is no. You can't avoid Vdara in the South zone. But If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive. Please post your dates for the stay.Let us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
victoorious Posted February 14, 2011 Author Report Posted February 14, 2011 Hi yellowdog, great, thanks for your help, I think I will just stick with NORTH area until they accept my offer

victoorious Posted February 16, 2011 Author Report Posted February 16, 2011 one more question, looks like that weekend is pretty pricey for all hotels,so I guess my options will try to be venetian / palazzo / wynn / Aria / Vdara,my question is, for the 5* SOUTH Strip. Between Aria and Vdara, I know I have no option of picking it, but I notice someone got accepted for $175 a night and was given Vdara. Will bidding a higher amount give me a higher chance of getting aria?
