Hey BB,

So I am about to put in a bid in the SOUTH area, but I noticed that the main three hotels have been getting are ARIA, VDARA, and COSMOPOLITAN. Now is there anyway to bid without having VDARA in the list? The reason is because I'd really prefer to stay in a hotel that has a Casino.

Hello victoorious!

Sorry to say that the short answer is no. You can't avoid Vdara in the South zone.

But If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive.

Please post your dates for the stay.

one more question,

looks like that weekend is pretty pricey for all hotels,

so I guess my options will try to be venetian / palazzo / wynn / Aria / Vdara,

my question is, for the 5* SOUTH Strip. Between Aria and Vdara, I know I have no option of picking it, but I notice someone got accepted for $175 a night and was given Vdara. Will bidding a higher amount give me a higher chance of getting aria?

Was bidding and trying to get Venetian/Palazzo but ended up getting the Wynn.

$185 is not bad compared to www.wynnlasvegas.com which is at $309 .

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $185.00 (USD)

Number of Rooms: 1

Number of Nights: 2

Room Subtotal: $370.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $58.58 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $428.58 (USD)
