avial Posted April 21, 2005 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 Trying to get the Coutyard Mariott Inn(reported to be 2.5*) in Brookline for 4/21-4/23. This used to be in a zone of its own but now is in the new Cambridge-Brookline zone that ranges from 1* to 4*. I'm think I start w/2.5* and work my way up the star levels as there are no other zones that have only 2* or less...btw... why hasnt the priceline hotel list been updated to reflect the new zones? thereuare Posted April 21, 2005 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 You can't increase your star levels as you go along since the star level you select is the minimum you are willing to accept... so if you bid 2.5* and are rejected, bidding the same zone at 3* will be viewed as a duplicate bid.The re-zoning is going to take a large time commitment and we just haven't had the time to do so yet (hopefully soon).
