DowntownKindGirl
I'm looking for a 4 star in downtown Austin on April 13-18 but have had not luck with Priceline or Hotwire for anything $140. Does anyone know what kind of hotel I might get in this area from either site? I want to see whether it is worth increasing my bid. It seems there are two festivals (reggae and folk/roots) are going on that weekend which might explain the high rates?? Hotwire only has one offer for a 4 start at $144/night includes airport shuttle (extra fee may apply), smoke-free, restaurants, hi-speed internet (extra fee may apply), and spa. This is for the downtown Austin and Town Lake area with an 85% user rating.Any tips would be appreciated!! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The 4* on HOTWIRE would appear to be a match for the Mansion at Judges Hill, which has not yet been reported to the board as a PRICELINE win, although it is listed on the regular rate side of that service as a 3*. Other services (Orbitz, Expedia) list it as a 4*, however. The lists of hotels reported to the board in TX on PRICELINE can be found in the Priceline Hotel List, while the HOTWIRE hotels reported to the board can be found in the Hotwire Hotel List. Those are the hotels that have been reported to the board - new hotels can be reported at any time.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
