I tried to bid a hotel 12 days before my trip.

I bid North strip 4* for $90.

I did not make it.

I bid South Strip 4* for $84.

I made a Mandalay Bay.

Hope you're happy with the results and this works well for your plans.

I don't know of any website for discount show tickets, although there is a "Discount Events" company all over the strip in Vegas now which sells last minute (same day) show tickets at a discount plus a fee per ticket... so for example a $80 show ticket may cost $50 + $7/tix fee... bring the cost to $57/tix vs. $80/tix. You can also find discounted tickets in many of the advertising brochures found in hotels and at the airport (if arriving by plane grab a few different ones before leaving the airport) but these are usually not for 'headline' shows.
