thereuare Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 The 4.5* matches previous reports for the Inter-Continental while the 3* is a match for the Holiday Inn Express, so these would be my best guess for each. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. pinkaholic Posted February 25, 2011 Author Report Posted February 25, 2011 These hotels don't really interest us so we're going to give Priceline a try. Thanks! :)
pinkaholic Posted February 25, 2011 Author Report Posted February 25, 2011 I started with $70 at Fisherman's Wharf, and increased at $5 increments by adding regions with lower maximum star-rating (Japan Town, Marina, SFO North, South San Francisco). My maximum bid was $91 and was rejected. I was hoping to book Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf or Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf for under $90, as the calendar of wins shows that others have booked it for $70 around the same period of time.Is it likely that the prices will go down and I just need to keep trying? Thanks!
yellowdog Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 pinkaholicPlease keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same stay. We will edit and move your thread in the end.Dates are rate specific so you can't really compare them. Current rates are higher. Much could have happend with the inventory since the OP posted the win.It don't looks like under $90 will cut it. What would your max budget be/night before tax/fee?Is it likely that the prices will go down and I just need to keep trying?Sorry to say that there's no general answer to this question.
