I am new to this so please bear with me. I am trying to score a 4* N. Scottsdale hotel in March. My first attempt was not taken. I noticed that when I went to include West Mesa and increase my price that Resorts was now selected. My fear is that I will pay 100+ per night and get something like Xona Suites which is a resort but not 4* but rather 3 1/2. Can someone please let me know if this is possible and if it is, can you work around it?

Thanks in advance.

Travis

Ps I do use the PRICELINE link on this site for my searches and purchases.

The "Resort" class is currently selected on your re-bid because when you choose a star rating it is the minimum that you are willing to accept... therefore when you make a 4* bid PRICELINE is also searching for Resort class properties as well as 5* properties (if either are offered in the zone)

While the Xona Resort Suites has 'resort' in it's name, it is currently rated 3.5* by PRICELINE, so you won't win this property if you keep your minimum star rating at 4*.

What are the date(s) of your stay?

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your bidding.

My stay is from March 15-23...I have already booked the 15th on HOTWIRE thru your link...I am trying to win the 16-19th in N. Scottsdale 4* and above. I have bid 90.00 plus I have $5.00 per night bonus bucks available.

Thanks for your help.

Please note:

You can still use our PRICELINE link along with your bonus money as follows:

1) click our link to PRICELINE and let the page fully load

2) at the top of the page go to MY PROFILE >> MY REWARDS

3) use the bonus money link found in the MY REWARDS section of your profile (and not the link in any emails sent to you)

As far as your current bidding, rates are high for these dates and i don't think your ~$100 bids are in the right ballpark (is it Spring Training in the area causing high rates??).

What is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels and what is your maximum bid for this stay?
