Can someone please help me identify the following hotels?

Travel Dates: 4/5-4/8/11

Waikiki Beach Area

4*, $140, Near beach, smoke free, fitness, pool, business center, laundry, high speed internet, golf nearby

Waikiki Marina Area

4*, $144, Near beach, oceanfront, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, spa

For the Waikiki Beach property, if you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all " link on top of the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?

Agree with both guesses... the Beach property would appear to be the Waikiki Parc and the Marina property the Hawaii Prince with a new 'Near Beach' icon since the last time it was reported to the board.

I wasn't interested in paying those prices for those hotels, so I ended up booking the Lotus through Priceline. Will update the Priceline board with that info. Used the PRICELINE link for this site. Thanks for the help!

Here's my bid history...

4/5-4/8/11

Bid up to $141 for Resort category in all areas with no success.

Bid up to $111 for 4 star in all areas except City Center with no success.

Bid up to $181 for Resort North Shore (Turtle Bay) and Ihalani (JW or Marriott Beach) with no success.

Decided Diamond Head area was the next closest thing to a quieter area and determined we could get the 4 star Lotus (formally W Hotel) through Hotwire for around $140. Hotel was going for $185 on Expedia. Priceline actually lists this hotel as a 2 star due to lack of amenities even though the other sites list it as a 4 star, so bid on the 2 star category in Diamond Head. Started at $111 and did two rebids by adding Ihalani and North Shore.

Ended up getting the Lotus Diamond Head for $121/night. Not the best deal ever but not bad considering you can park for free on the street or at the nearby park and there are no resort fees.

Used the PRICELINE link to book and for all searches.
