Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (TSQ, MTW, MTE), 6/19/11 - 6/22/11

Hi guys,

just need an advice on when to start booking my hotel and what is the best way to bid on accommodation to get a hotel in either TSQ or MTW area preferred (MTE would probably be alright as well). I'm looking for 4* hotel up to $150-190/night which I hope is quite reasonable budget for the location.

I'm not sure, if it's not too early to look for hotel now as I need a stay from 6/19/11 to 6/22/11. If I get it right, accommodations get cheaper in NYC in summer and more expensive in winter. Is it right? So should I wait and try to book later on or should I go for it now?

Any help would be very appreciated.

As far as the dates of your stay, you're right on the cusp of high season/low season... if business is strong we may not see NYC low season rates kick-in until the first week of July... if business is slow low rates may be seen as early as a week or so before your stay.
