The taxes on a room in vegas are around 9%HotelRate per night: $98.00Nights: 1Rooms: 1Tax recoverycharges & fees: $19.40Subtotal: $117.40is there just a fee built in that hotwire pockets, if so I really think the should have it labeled separately from taxes which are mandated by law, and something that they choose to charge customers
thereuare Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Hotel tax is 12% in Vegas which make the taxes and fees above about $12 in taxes and about $7 in booking fee. Right or wrong, it's become pretty standard for most online booking agencies to combine these two items into one line item. Have you booked a hotel or still looking? What are the date(s) of your stay and amenities associated with the hotel above? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
