carolinamha06 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Went through several itterations over 2 days and ended up with the Omni. Woodley Park wouldn't be my first choice as I like to go out and the metro stops at 2a in DC. I"ve stayed at the Marriott Wardman (a 3.5 star) before. The primary zones I tried for were Dupont and Whitehouse -- adding in the Northeast suburb deadzone to get additional bids. I would have preferred a 3.5 Star Kimpton in the White House Zone -- had a great stay at the Madera last Sept. In the future, I probably won't use the Dupont Zone. With the money I've saved I guess that will help with the cab fare. Trip Details: March 18-20 (Fri-Sun) - during high demand season, I've heardRoom Cost (avg. per room, per night): $76.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $152.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $31.18 (USD) Total Room Cost: $183.18 (USD) I also redeemed my $5/night credit
