bond316 Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Did you click on See All for the amenities? If so then I would have to say it probably is the Club Quarters Downtown.

fran79 Posted February 24, 2011 Author Report Posted February 24, 2011 Hi! Are there good hotels in Hell's Kitchen? What are the hotels that people have won in this area? I ask because for long while I have been trying to get a good offer to stay in MTE-TS-CHELSEA for the second week of March but the prices are really high. I realized that according to the map Hell's Kitchen seem to be well located, but here I have never seen somebody get an hotel in that area. Thanks!
yellowdog Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 fran79Please keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same stay. We will edit and move your thread in the endAll reported hotels can be found HERE.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
AaronJB Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 There have been no reports of hotels won in Hell's Kitchen; additionally, there are only a few hotels actually in that zone. I think the Skyline and Ink48 do fall into that zone, and I believe the new Element *MAY* fall into that zone. There have been no confirmation of which hotels participate on the bidding side in that zone.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
fran79 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 Thank you very much. Now I understand why Hell's Kitchen might not be an option.Could you help me recognize this hotel in hotwire?2-star hotel in Central ParkFitness CenterRestaurant(s) Business Center USD 88.00 per room, 03/11-03/17.Thanks again for all your help.
fran79 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 And this one?3-star hotel in Midtown CentralFitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access 124 USD, 03/11-03/17.Yesterday, I bid until 125 usd for a 3* in Priceline and I couldn't get anything. This hotel might be a good option.
AaronJB Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 My guess for the 2* Central Park is that it may be the Days Inn, although I'd caution against that option. The 3* MTC is a possible match for the Holiday Inn Midtown.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
fran79 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks very much for your help. I have a very limited budget and the prices for the second week of march are very high. Could you help me identify this one?3.5-star hotel in Midtown CentralFitness Center Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access 133 usd per room, 03/11-03-17THANKS!!
AaronJB Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 My guess in this case would be either the Club Quarters or the Manhattan Centre. Additionally, in regards to Hell's Kitchen, one hotel has now been reported to the board in that PRICELINE zone - the 4* Ink48.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
fran79 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks!! If it is one these two hotels then I think is a good offer. Yesterday I bid up to 135 usd for a 3* hotel in priceline for this same period and I could get anything. Would you suggest I accept the offer? I checked that hotel in Hell's Kitchen and although it seems very nice the location was not the best. Thanks anyway :)
fran79 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks very much for your help. It was Club Quarters! :)
AaronJB Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 I think the HOTWIRE deal is a good deal and worth consideration, especially if you have been rejected up to $135 for a 3*.The only other deal I'll suggest would be the Murray Hill East Suites, which are on sale for $141 via Expedia and coupon code FROST11 takes $10 off - $131. That property is not as upscale - it's a 2.5* on Expedia and 3* on some other services. It's also in a completely different (although very nice) area. However, the reason I suggest it is if you want a larger, studio room w/kitchen.Otherwise, I'd take the HOTWIRE deal.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
