Hotwire Hotel: 3* Seattle DOUBLETREE - Renton (Southcenter)

Hello -

We need to stay at Seattle - Southcenter Doubletree Guest Suites - (Renton).

We're going to attend a school auction that will be held in this hotel. The special rate for the auction attendees is $109, AAA discount is $116, and their website shows $129.

The problem is, both Priceline and Hotwire have Doubletree Suites and Holiday Inn Select as 3* and listed in the Renton area. I went to the hotel websites, and both have almost identical amenities, although Doubletree is an all-suite and Holiday Inn Select offers regular rooms. Even though Hotwire doesn't list all the amenities, both offer airport shuttle, both have restaurants. On their websites, Holiday Inn Select offers laundry facilities, but not Doubletree.

Could the 2.5* be the Holiday Inn Select? Or possibly that the 3* that is showing is the Holiday Inn, and no Doubletree?

Given that you need quad occupancy and a specific hotel, i would think you're best bet is to book direct with the hotel.

If you go with one of the above and get a hotel other than the DOUBLETREE, would the savings be worth it?

Okay thanks. I just thought someone here would know for sure if the one popping up for the 3* Renton is the Doubletree Suites.
