kitkatjp Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 Hi There, Using the HOTWIRE link on your website for Feb 14-16 I found a 4 star San Juan with the following amenities:BeachfrontFitnessPoolRestaurants Business CenterTennis Spa3.5 out of 5 trip advisor ratingHotwire reviews: We are still gathering reviews for this propertyThis hotel charges a resort feeI was going to guess the Caribe on this one but the "we are still gathering reviews for this property" threw me off. Any ideas on this one? I am looking at extending an existing reservation that I already booked throught his board.Thanks for your help!Kathryn Link to comment
thereuare Posted February 7, 2011 Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 The Caribe Hilton would be my best guess for this one... even with 'still gather reviews' notation.I've seen this message on hotels which HOTWIRE has used for quite some time, as well as varying 'recommended by' percentages for the same hotel from one search to the next... so i don't consider this information to be a determining factor in including/excluding hotels from the possibilities.Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. kitkatjp Posted February 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2011 Ended up delaying and delaying adding on these dates to my already booked trip. Went in just now and this hotel was gone. Nicely enough I was able to book the exact same hotel I was already staying in from 2/11-/2-14 for $104. Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde. Very happy I can stay in the same hotel all 5 nights.
