Tried bidding for 2 days until I got what I wanted. Used up all my options day 1 and only wanted a resort. Started at $65 day one increased by $5 each time and added two other area. No luck.

Day 2 bid $81, declined, Priceline offered $101 to get room. I declined and added area 2 that doesn't have resorts and bid $86, declined. Closed Browser, reentered using PRICELINE link above and bid $91 with first choice area and 3rd choice area that doesn't have resorts. Got the room for $91 per night. Total with taxes $216.24. There will be a daily $23 resort fee. Regular rate is $239 per night. Half price is nice and this is a great property. Valentines Weekend!!! Whose wife is going to think he's awesome?

Wish I would have tried your strategy. Got the Hyatt Grand Champion for February 12, 2011 weekend, but my original $87 bid had to be increased to $113. A great price for this overpriced property, but not as good as your bid. Congrads.
