Hi,

I would appreciate some help with making reservations for the middle of april in the kanapaali area or wailea area for a 4* resort.

I have booked through PL and HW several times and have mostly been happy but have been terribly disappointed a few times. This trip is too important for me to end up disappointed at the same time I cannot afford the full price for these resorts.

I would be willing to bid upto $175. Can you please guide me through this process. :)

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

Sharing any prior wins would be greatly appreciated, as the information - even for past trips - can help others.

Please provide the dates of travel for the above stay. If it is a very important trip, I'd suggest HOTWIRE, where at least you can make an educated guess as to which hotels may be showing.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Dates of travel April 13th to 17th. I have not stayed at maui before, My previous statement was a generalization about HW and PL.

I then plan to spend 17th to 20th in Oahu.

HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel for $188/nite, a 4.0 Tripadvisor rating, and 95% recommended by previous HOTWIRE customers... would you be willing/able to stretch your budget?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Yes I would, if I could narrow down what the hotel might be.

I sincerely appreciate your help.

I don't see it now either :)

Is there anything offered on HOTWIRE which does appeal to you?

I was thinking of trying through priceline.

Amongst the resorts I would like to avoid "The Whaler". Could you give me some pointers on how I could do this please.

When bidding on PRICELINE there is no way to avoid a particular property. The Whaler has been reported to the board previously thru PRICELINE, but not in the last 4 years... so it's up to you if it's a risk you're willing to take or not.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

I used your link and decided to follow your advice. I bid for a resort in the kaanapali area through priceline. I bid to my max and failed. I will try again in the next couple of days. :)
