carolinamha06 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Great hotel. Check in was a breeze. I added an additional night to my stay, priceline gave me the option. Even though they never mentioned Priceline, I was given a room right across from the ice machine....it seemed to run all the time. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke with you when you were on the elevator at the same time. The hotel recently underwent a major rennovation, this is evident in the lobby! However, the guest rooms still need some updating. The headboards are nice and updated, however, the matressesses need replacing. My guest room also lacked a flat panel television, making the room feel very dated. The linens weren't the best in the world, the sheets obviously weren't part of the extensive renovation, either. I saw a few worn spots on my fitted sheet. The hotel fitness center was lackluster as well. There were two treadmills (gym quality ones), an ellipitical and a bike, however, the selection of weights was very limited. All in all though, I would say this was a decent hotel for the price I paid -- more than 50% off the rack rate including taxes and other fees. I would probably stay here again, using Priceline of course.
