LadyHawke Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 It is Feb 3, 2011 and through HOTWIRE I just booked a room at the Wingate at Wyndham Manhattan Midtown for $80 plus taxes and fees for a total of $103.It was listed as a 3* Chelsea - Madison Square Garden with five icons of amenities - which includes a hot breakfast so this is an especially great value. Amenities include:Complimentary Breakfast: <amenity names only please... not descriptions>Fitness Center: Guests have access to exercise equipment.Restaurant: Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises.Business Center: Guests have access to business equipment and services.High-speed Internet Access: Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access. There are five people in our party. We bid on a room this way last night and met with such success that we tried again today with the same result.The only difference in the listing yesterday and today is that yesterday it said 90% of people left a positive review and today it was still calculating the percentage.So the identifying features for the Wingate at Wyndham Manhattan Midtown were 3*s, the Chelsea-MSG area and the 5 icons of amenities.Thank you BetterBidding for your invaluable help with this process.

We are very pleased. We will be near shopping and the Meat Packing District food tour we have scheduled. It is wonderful to know which property we are bidding on!Thank you for providing this forum.
