rocc63 Posted February 2, 2011 Author Report Posted February 2, 2011 Looking from 4/22-4/25.areas which appeal are Happy Valley(close to friends),north scottsdale. Are there other areas which would appeal to 2 early teenagers I have?Price range to bid $ 40-55 in Happy Valley, $75-90 north scottsdale. What should be a good time to start bidding?
thereuare Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 To begin, note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. Is this a risk you're willing to accept... or were you intending on bidding for more than one room? If this isn't a risk you're willing to take, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! rocc63 Posted February 3, 2011 Author Report Posted February 3, 2011 I am willing to take a risk-worst come scenario can ask for rollaway bed(still works cheaper than regular priced room).Looking for suggestions.thanks!
thereuare Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Looking from 4/22-4/25.Price range to bid $ 40-55 in Happy Valley, $75-90 north scottsdale.Given the wide range between your budget for each zone, which one do you want to try for first? Would you prefer a less expensive hotel in Happy Valley or a higher priced property in the North Scottsdale zone? Are you willing to pay more (but still keeping within your budget for a higher rated hotel) OR is your goal the least expensive 2.5* or better for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly.
