8sa5 Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I am new to this forum- what a great idea! I am going to Chicago for a conference May 14th-21st and of course I know hotels are pretty busy and prices are high but I am trying to get the lowest I can for a 3 or 4 star hotel (was hoping for 4 star but prices are skyhigh!).I was thinking of NMA or the loop (conference is at the McCormick Centre). I have two questions:1)I found a hotel on EasyClickTravel a 3 1/2 star near the mag mile for 162.50 a night- I think it might be the embassy suites downtown but I am not sure- can anybody help ID it? It has a microwave in the rooms.I think that it is cancellable without penalty- is this true?2) I tried priceline up to $145- no luck. Hotwire doesnt have much that is cheaper. I thought about maybe breaking up the trip but cant seem to get anywhere with that either- any suggestions? The cheapest hotel which is affiliated with the conference is 200 +.Thanks for the help!
AaronJB Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 The EasyClickTravel hotel is likely Embassy Suites, as I can't see what else it could be.
