jdwelsh3 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Booked the Renaissance Hotel 57 for $115/night 2/18-2/20. Used betterbidding PRICELINE link. Started bidding at 100 and increased in $5 increments while expanding search to neighborhoods that did not have 4* hotels (Brooklyn, LIC, MSG, etc.).

bobcats12 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 I stayed in that hotel in 2009 on a group bus trip. The hotel was great and in a good location near Bloomingdales and Central Park, but not too far from 5th Ave and Rockefeller/Times Square to walk. I would love to know the size/number of beds in your room when you find out. I am thinking of using Priceline, but that risk is holding me back. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Rooms with two beds are in less quantity in NYC with its smaller hotel rooms, and using PRICELINE for two beds in NYC is a definite risk. Additionally, it may also depend on availability; if one user lucks out with two beds for a certain set of dates, another may not for a different set of dates. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
