headinsouth Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Best Western Plus Lehigh Valley Hotel & Conference CenterBut they assigned me a king. hoping to trade to a double or at least something w/ sofa bed. Otherwise the kids will be sleeping on the floor!! This was my first time bidding, and I don't like that priceline doesn't ask how many people are in your party when bidding
thereuare Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Thank you for sharing your results with the board. As per their terms of use, PRICELINE reservations are for double occupancy... anything more than that is at the discretion of the hotel. Hope the hotel is able to honor your request for a room with two beds. Please use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your future travel purchases.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

taliategan Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 The Best Western is a fairly large hotel and hopefully they will be accomodate your request. I travel with our two children (10 and 8) frequently and normally use PRICELINE over HOTWIRE. The couple of times I was not able to get a room with two beds occurred when we checked in late at night. Once was at a Holiday Inn and the other was at a Hilton Garden Inn. In both case, the room had either a small sofa (not a sofa bed) or a large chair with foot stool where one of our children slept, and the other three of us slept in the king bed. I did stay in that Best Western but had a room with two beds, so I am not sure what the configuration of the king bed room looks like. If you are able to check in early that may help your cause.
