melmabelle Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Trying to book a trip to DC from 4/16-4/19. Got a 4* in Dupont Cirlce Emabssy Row with following:95% recommendationrestaurantbusinessinternetfitnessI am thinking that it is the Dupont based on what I've been reading but secretly hoping it is the Palomar. Does anyone know if the Dupont is pet friendly? Couldn't find anything on their website saying one way or the other. Also, started to check out rate on Travelocity Top Secret Hotels....has anyone used this service yet?
thereuare Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! There are some reported purchases of Travelocity Top Secret hotels in our OTHER DEALS --> Hotels section of the board. The amenities above match the Dupont Hotel and the Hotel Palomar so either fo tehse would seem likely, but i'll add that the Tripadvisor rating shown to be associated with this property don't match either. However, this doesn't exclude these properties since the TA info shown by HOTWIRE is not updated in real time (it's only updated about once per month) and it may have changed since HOTWIRE's last update. I'll also add that the Hilton Towers is a possibility as well, if it was upgraded from the 3.5* level since the last time it was reported to the board. Of these my best guess is the Hotel Dupont, but it could be one of the others OR given the common-ness of the amenities, some other hotel not yet reported to the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (or our Travelocity link if you go that route)Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
lexplayer Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Anyone know that this property was? I'd be interested as well.
