tex winter
Hi,Just back from back from this stay at the Hilton.I was pleasantly suprised that they upgraded us from the regular tower to the executive tower. I had just signed up for an Honors club membership with Hilton a few weeks ago. I had misplaced my card, but showed them my confirmation email at check in. No points since I booked with Hotwire, but yes to a free upgrade. The bed was probably the best I have ever slept on in a hotel.Big room, nice view to the east, and if I had to stay in the regular part I would have been disappointed, this was a nice deal through hotwire. One other piece of advice: if you are staying there on a Saturday night, try to park on the street. They don't check the meters on Sunday, and it saves you $18 over the hotel parking. And stay away from the gift shop: $2.00 for a 20 oz. soda. Ouch!!! Link to comment
