As well, HOTWIRE is showing no opaque availability for these dates which is another sign of tight demands (and likely few deals to be had)I would book the best refundable deal (most car rentals are fully refundable) you can find and use that as a 'price to beat' and hope for lower prices in the weeks to come... but you may want to bump your maximum bid up a bit to be more inline with demand for these particular nites.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated and let us know how we can be of further help. utahpilot Posted February 8, 2011 Author Report Posted February 8, 2011 ended up $41/day for a compact car from Hertz via PRICELINE. thanks for the help! SNA is a tough one. Lots of mid week business people there. also got Radisson airport for $65/night. thanks again!
