Hotwire Hotel: help with disney hotels

I was wondering if there was a way to tell how far away the hotels were from the gates? I am not as interested in star rating, as long as it is decent...but I need to be withing walking distance to either gate, restuarants, etc. I am familiar with the South harbor properties, but have never stayed on the North. Is there a way to tell Hotwire that you need to be close (closer than 3 miles?)

HOTWIRE don't reveal how far it's to the gates. But you can look at the HOTWIRE maps to determ a zone (shaded areas) that you're comfortable with.

And we can also help you with a an educated guess most of the times about the hotel that is listed on HOTWIRE.

My dates are March 19-22, 2011. I will work on it now....

I see a 3.5 star, North: smoke free, fitness, pool, laundry, business, restaurant, hi-speed...any ideas on that one?

3.5 star, South: Fitness, pool, restaurant, business, laundry, hi-speed...any idea on this one?

2.5 star, South: Complimentary breakfast, fitness, pool, laundry, hi-speed

The 3.5* North property matches previous reports for the Hotel Menage so that would be my best guess for this one.

In the South the 3.5* matches the Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim-Garden Grove while the 2.5* appears to be the Ramada at the Convention Center... these would be my best guess here.

Do keep in mind that there are no guarantees as amenities can change from previous reports, and hotels are upgraded/downgraded, at any time.
