Same success as previous bid

Started with 38.00 and got counter offer to add 15.00 to my original bid. I declined and changed bid to 40.00 and used free re-bid which resulted in the "win"

The numbers> 40.00 + 12.72 tax/fees = 52.72

FYI - The lowest rate on the hotel website was 108.99 (nonrefundable and before taxes)

Just an update on my stay.

We tried to check-in at 2PM but were told that there were no rooms available (yes, and on a Saturday) so we went to have lunch and came back

at 3:15PM. The front desk clerk then had to call housekeeping to locate a room that was clean and available. The room was on a still being renovated floor

...no big deal since our half was already done. I found it hard to belive that no rooms were avaiable at 2pm.....may be the priceline effect. Other than that and the fact that the front desk did not sell stamps the stay was great.
